This new addon solves two different issues:

1.     Managing the permitted list of keys per each edge device

2.     Managing lost keys – by providing a period for their permanent deletion

Managing the permitted list of keys per each edge device

In the new solution Each EDGE unit is provided with a list of Dallas Keys / RFID tags that are allowed for its’ operation. We have a process that downloads only Dallas Keys / RFIDs in status “Associated with a driver” or “Faulty” to the EDGE unit.

Each EDGE unit can store up to 7,280 Dallas keys / RFIDs, so each unit only get keys relevant to it and not the existing keys in the organization

with the new addon – the keys will be deleted permanently after X days and will not be shown in central anymore (there are still in the DB but disconnected from the OU)

In Vehicle Feedback (Dallas Key Only)

If an invalid key is used, the LED will flash RED and the driver may hear 3 short beeps.

NOTE - If an invalid RFID tag is detected, there will be no visual or audio indication

Default Settings

By default, Video Download Rate Limiting is disabled.

The feature becomes active only after you enable it and define your desired policy.
