The third section is where you set Preferences about how you would like GreenRoad DRIVE™ to look and function for you:

  • Safety sound alert - this is where you set whether you want the app to give you real-time audio alerts. Note: this option is set "on" by default.

  • Geofence sound notification - this is where you set whether the app should provide real-time audio alerts when you enter or exit a geofenced area (defined via GreenRoad Central™’s Administration tab under the Geofences section). Note: this option is set "on" by default.

  • Always use device speaker - when this option is enabled, audio notifications are delivered via the mobile phone. When it is disabled, audio notifications are delivered via the vehicle’s multimedia unit. Note: this option is offered only for those who use Android devices.

  • Trip start alert - activate this option to receive audio notifications when the app detects trip starts (automatic or manually-started). Note: this option is disabled by default.

  • Distance units - set to miles or kilometers.
